Specialist Service
Exterior Painting
Weatherboard, brick and render repainted to handle Sydney sun and summer storms.
Overview
An exterior job lives or dies on washing and prep. Every surface is pressure cleaned first, because paint over chalking or dirt peels within a season. Flaking areas are scraped back to a sound edge, bare patches are primed, and gaps are re-caulked before the first coat.
Weatherboard, brick and render each take a different system, and we match the product to the surface and the exposure. West-facing walls cop the afternoon sun, so we use UV-stable exterior grades there.
Windows, paths, plants and roofs are masked and sheeted, and the site is left clean each day, not just at the end.
How a job runs

Walk through and quote
Kartik looks at the job in person or from clear photos, talks through colours, and sends a written quote. The number you approve is the number on the invoice.
Protect and prep
Drop sheets, masking, filling, sanding and priming. The unglamorous hours are what the finish depends on, so they are not rushed.
Paint
Two topcoats, brushed, rolled or sprayed depending on the surface. Coverage is checked in natural light between coats.
Handover
Masking off, sheets up, everything cleaned, and a lap of the job with you before it is called done.

Questions about Exterior Painting
Do you pressure clean before painting?
Every surface is pressure cleaned first, because paint over chalking or dirt peels within a season.
What do you do about flaking paint?
Flaking areas are scraped back to a sound edge, bare patches are primed, and gaps are re-caulked before the first coat.
Is the same paint used on brick, render and weatherboard?
No. Each surface takes a different system, matched to the surface and the exposure. West-facing walls get UV-stable exterior grades.
What happens if it rains during my exterior job?
Wet weather pauses exterior work. Paint does not cure properly on damp surfaces, so we watch the forecast, plan around it and resume once surfaces are dry. Your timeline is updated if weather shifts it.
